Mah Jongg 3-Class Series: $140

Wednesday, January 21st
Beginner Class: We will cover a brief history of Mah Jongg and then jump in learning the tiles, how to read the NMJL card, setting up the game, game play and more. Typically we play 2-3 games in the beginner class.
Wednesday, February 4th
Guided Play: We will do a brief review of everything we covered in the beginner class, and move straight into game play. I will guide you through play, assisting and answering questions as needed, and providing guidance while reinforcing rules. By the end of this session you will leave feeling confident in the flow of the game.
Wednesday, February 18th
Strategy Session: In this class we will discuss methods for studying and learning the card in order to optimize pivoting during game play, reading exposures and discards, Charleston strategies, and learn if we’re giving away information about our hands to our opponents.
